Quotes from Donors

Donors voicing their determination to be implicated in the School’s growth.

If every student deems their time at the ENS to have had a major impact on their life trajectory, they must also recognize that they themselves have become an agent of the ENS Paris-Saclay’s influence. Supporting the School today means allowing it to take action in different areas, beyond the strict limits imposed by its public budget.”

Promoting diversity and defending equality of opportunity are cornerstones of my social engagement. I am very grateful for my education at the ENS Paris-Saclay, and even prouder of being among the alumni of an institution that always defended equality of opportunity. I have made it my creed throughout my career.

Supporting research and training our young researchers seems all the more relevant to me in these times where the status quo is thrown off balance. In the face of changes our societies must undergo, in order to prepare young workers for future challenges while respecting ethical principles and preserving our knowledge, I have decided to support this solidarity fund.

It is often said that CSR is at a standstill in startups, that they care more about ‘business’ and growth than about their social impact, because they are not legally obligated to, as opposed to big companies. [...] We are ready to take action in favor of diversity, and even more committed to support and help along actions already undertaken. Ready to commit to change, we are really glad to sign this partnership on the elementary school sponsorship program, and to support students who take part in raising awareness of science and research in schoolchildren.”

Last year, I was wholly dependent on the CROUS and the money I made in private tutoring sessions. I had the chance to get out of this situation thanks to my admission through the secondary competitive exam. Today, it is only natural for me to support my peers by making a donation. Together, let’s keep making our school an open door to knowledge, without monetary prerequisites!

With my donation, I wanted to show my gratitude to the ENS Paris-Saclay and the exceptional education I was given throughout my studies there.
I encourage all alumni to get involved and support initiatives helping current students at the School, and those in need. A small action for you can be a great step forward for them.
