Colombe Maurice, an ENS student in the first year of her master’s program in chemistry, resolutely follows the path of her astrophysicist father. Fascinated by space since childhood, she aspires to pursue a career in astrochemistry or astrophysics. Colombe wishes to become a model for young women in science, to encourage them to believe in their potential and aim for excellence. This year, she benefits from the Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) endowment fund.

Salma Bairat, first year non-civil servant engineering student at the ENS Paris-Saclay, managed to succeed in an overwhelmingly masculine field. Thanks to the support of the Qube Research & Technologies Charity Fund, Salma can now focus entirely on her studies while getting involved in inspiring other young girls to follow their passion for science.
The ENS Paris-Saclay’s pre-doctoral scholarship is a launching pad for non-civil-servant students who wish to explore the world of research before starting a PhD program. This program, sponsored by partners of the School such as the CEA-DAM, supports students throughout their scientific career.
