Increasing the Amount of Women in Science and Technology
In keeping with its mission to support all talents, the ENS Paris-Saclay is committed to encouraging more women to pursue careers in science and technology. Women only make up 12.7% of the student body in departments such as engineering, mathematics, computer science and physics.
Gender parity in science can promote national creativity and efficiency. The “Women in Science” program aims at strengthening the confidence of young women in their own abilities, and financially supporting them should they decide to pursue scientific studies.
The ENS Paris-Saclay and its partner sponsors offer special support for female non-civil-servant students:
- The attribution of a 1,000€/month scholarship over an academic year;
- Access to a dedicated mentorship program;
- Participation in the development of a network of ”Women in Science” ambassadors.
