ENS Paris-Saclay, fighting for gender equality

For years, the ENS Paris-Saclay, led by its equality advisors, has been fighting for gender equality, namely with a professional equality plan in 2020. Claire Lambard, director of the language training and research department, is also a policy officer for diversity and inclusion at the School.

For 4 years, I have been fighting for more inclusion, making sure that more women were accepted at the ENS Paris-Saclay and pursued scientific careers in general. Women have a lot to offer, a different approach and point of view. That is why every year, we organize events to introduce young people to science. These encounters are an opportunity to challenge gender stereotypes with everyone, and to show young women that they should not hesitate to pursue scientific studies. We shine a light on inspiring women through a wide array of conferences on famous women in science and in our ‘Science en une(s)’ video series, presenting current or former female students of the School.” Claire Lambard
